Robert is the Director of Planned Giving at RIT, joining the Development team in January, 2011. He was an attorney for over 20 years in New York limiting his practice to trust and estate and charitable gift planning, focusing on families, business executives, and medical and other professionals. He is an elected Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Robert moved to the financial services field where he was a First Vice President with HSBC Private Bank and served as Regional Head of the Personal Trust business and a Wealth Planner. He is a founder and President of the Western New York Planned Giving Consortium and its program, Leave A Legacy of WNY©, and has been an advocate of proactive estate planning that helped his clients maximize their charitable interests by implementing creative plans of legacy giving. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (BA) and State University of New York at Buffalo (JD, MBA).
